1:100 Chair
The project talks about the social memory of the concept of a chair, using the silhouette of a chair as an archetypal schema that we understand as a society, which most people imagine they think of a chair. With changing dimensions and holding spaces in a careful composition, I designed a chair that accepts the same characteristics as the icons of a chair, but it is not the chair we know. Creating a quiet move within consensus and breaking it symmetrically as a statement to archiving the icon and reexamining it as a symbol of culture.
As part of the project, a series of chairs were created to support each other. .
